Kenya and Uganda ban plastic bags
Friday, June 22nd, 2007In an effort to curb environmental damage, the African countries of Kenya and Uganda have followed their neighbours in Rwanda and Tanzania’s by placing a ban on thin plastic bags, and introduced a 120% tax on thick bags.
