Some people want to get married with all of the traditional things. They want the boastful lily-white dress, the astonishing church service and wonderful party afterwards. I dont know what it is but I have always been the odd one out, when my partner proposed to me I did not want any of that. I literally wanted to live out my dream and have a space themed wedding.

My story began when I was around ten years old, I really got into space and astrology and it was something that has stayed with me all my life. I find space and planets so very interesting. Well when I turned 25 my long term better half decided to make a allegiance to me, he was also a space oddball, so when I announced what I wanted for the wedding, he was dismayed but captivated.

The next few months saw me organising the whole event. I had to make so may phone calls and go and see so many people to get to where I wanted to be. I can tell you what, all of my efforts really paid off. When I first step foot into the building I was blown away. All the lights were turned out and we had, what I could only depict as spotlights representing stars, there were then planets drifting around the room. In front of me all I could see was a space shuttle and that was where me and my husband were going to say our vows.

If you are ready this you are probably wondering what I wore, well basically in everyones invitation we all had to dress up in white astronaut outfits, although they were quite hard to get hold of it was well worth it. It was a great day and thanks to the wedding photography it will be one that I always truly remember.
