For the men reading, and who have heard of this ebook, Double Your Dating, here’s a short review of the contents of the book that I found interesting so you can decide if it’s worth your time and effort!
David DeAngelo’s book covers a lot of topics, but the ones I found most interesting were:
- being yourself
- differences between the sexes
- dispelling myths and misconceptions
Should you just being yourself?
You need to be the best version of yourself, as David stresses that being just yourself is not enough. It is important that a lot of guys first learn how to be interesting to women, because when they are “just being themselves” they fail at getting women. In order to be successful, you need to stop being yourself for the time being so you learn how to become successful with women, then mould this into your own personality eventually!
What makes the gender roles between the sexes different?
David DeAngelo does a great job at explaining the difference between guys and girls, and he also tells you that a lot of men in our modern world are confused about the roles they should play in terms of gender types. In our society, a lot of guys do not know what to do, because they are all confused having been brainwashed by the media. It astounds me, but I just can’t figure out why some guys just think they need to be nice guys to get women. This is where things take a wrong turn and problems begin to surface. Girls like boys who act like boys. I find it funny and sad that a lot of guys are confused, and just act like women. That’s a big part of the reason as to why some guys don’t get women, because they don’t act like a man, but instead act like women!
Misconceptions dispelled
Society has given the impression to men that in order to get women they need to be either, tall, handsome, rich or powerful. This is false. Having these things is important, because it shows to girls that a man has a high social status. To have a high social status, you don’t need to look like you have all the material items that money could buy. The good news is that you don’t need to be a rockstar to get women, as David DeAngelo goes into detail to show you how to demonstrate these qualities in your own personality!
