Czech Sports Cars

Czech Sports car based on old Aero 30 model from 1930sTwo Czech companies are involved in producing sports cars.

Kaipan is taking used Å koda Favorits and making them into convertibles for young buyers. The cars are available in either kit or finished form. The company, established in 1991, employs eight people but plans to increase its work force.

Another specialist auto company is found in Plzeň, West Bohemia. Auto Projekt Centrum is producing a retro sports cars based on the old Aero 30 and Aero 50 models. The hand-crafted cars are sold under the brand name Gordon. Each car is unique and based on an Aero from the 1920s or 1930s. They have appealed to Czechs. The company hopes to break into European markets.
